John began his career as a teacher in local area after studying at the University of Kingston. John then moved into educational publishing, before working for the National Foundation for Educational Research and then moving on to a sales director role within the conference sector.
Following his redundancy, John saw it as an opportunity to make a fresh start and opened our brand new Pitman Training centre in Twickenham in March 2007, and has been working flat out ever since!
John is responsible for developing and expanding the franchise in the local area, as well as being first point of contact for any individual or corporate enquiries.
After spending time studying to be a Chartered Account in Central London, Sam decided that he would prefer a role that would provide more day to day interaction with people, rather than spreadsheets!
Sam has been involved with setting up of the centre prior to opening, working with John to develop the centre's IT systems, and helping to wade through the information recieved from Head Office to ensure compliance with Pitman Training's procedures.
Sam is responsible for dealing with the day to day business issues in the centre, as well as assisting John with responding to enquiries and working with our IT support staff.
Following the closure of Pitman Training Kingston, Rachel joined us in June 2007 to take on the role of Training Manager.
Rachel has 7 years of Training Room supervisor experience from our Kingston branch, and she was originally a Pitman Training student herself. She has completed the vast majority of the courses that we offer already, and she is currently working through the most recent courses that have been released.
Rachel is responsible for day to day liaison with current students regarding their training, and will be first point of contact for the majority of students for any queries in the first instance.
